About
Hi, I'm Lex.

Threads of Joy started at a kitchen table with a borrowed machine, two kids underfoot, and a crooked pillow cover. I kept going because sewing gave me something rare: a quiet hour and something real at the end of it.
Now I make beginner patterns and teach people who are convinced they're "not crafty" — busy moms looking for a naptime hobby, retired women picking sewing back up, and anyone who wants a quick-win project to gift or sell. You don't need talent. You need a straight seam, a little patience, and someone to tell you which parts genuinely don't matter.
My Sewing Basics guide is the class I wish I'd had, and my patterns — from holiday banners to eco-friendly gifts — are designed for small windows of time and big satisfaction. Lessons and a subscriber lesson library are coming soon.
